Plan and coordinate cultural events to discover more about our heritage.
Development
Raise funds via sponsorships, grants, donations, etc. toward the many programs and activities NAAAP-Chicago provides.
Entrepreneurship
New for 2010! This committee coordinates panels, seminars, and workshops tailored to developing, building, and maintaining your own business.
Leadership & Professional Development
Coordinate seminars, educational workshops, and speaking engagements tailored to the specific needs of Asian American professionals to further develop professional and personal goals and to build leadership skills.
Marketing/Public Relations
Create and communicate the image of NAAAP as well as promote NAAAP events through print, email, newsletters, website, etc.
Membership
Welcome new members, develop membership benefits, and spread the word about NAAAP to grow membership.
Outreach
Foster relationships with other organizations, government, corporations, and universities for the purposes of building awareness of our organization.
Red Orchid Gala
Our annual fundraising event. Proceeds go towards scholarships and the development of leadership training.
Women in Leadership SIG
Formerly known as the Women's Special Interest Group, the objective is to further develop the professional and leadership skills of Asian American women in the workforce. Future plans include speakers and panels showcasing Asian American women leaders in various roles and industries.
