The Leadership and Professional Development committees coordinate seminars, educational workshops, speaking engagements and gathers resources to help members further their professional skills necessary to succeed and lead in today's workplace.

Programs

Asian American Leadership Forum (AALF) - An annual leadership forum organized by NAAAP-Chicago, Asian American Institute (AAI), and Leadership Education of Asian Pacifics (LEAP).

“Leadership Is” Mentorship Series - NAAAP-Chicago showcases leaders in different industries and sectors.

Meet the Employer - Employers sponsor a session/workshop to showcase their company to our demographic. Part participating companies include Federal Reserve Board of Chicago and Sara Lee.

Women in NAAAP (WiN) - Originally launched in 2004 and now a national program, focuses on the advancement of Asian American women in the workplace.

Entrepreneurship Program - Launched in 2010, this program focuses on starting and maintaining your own business.
