Census Day is coming up! Official Census forms will be mailed out this week, and AAI and its partners are working to ensure that the Asian American community is counted!
AAI and its partner organizations have volunteer opportunities at our Make Yourself Count Events to inform people about the Census, and encourage them to fill out their forms. The events are as follows, locations to be determined:

Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required. In order to volunteer at these events you must attend a volunteer training. AAI will be hosting volunteer trainings at two times (volunteers only need to attend one of the trainings) :

Snacks and beverages will be provided at each training, and will be held at the Bridgeview Bank Uptown building at 4753 N. Broadway in Chicago (exact room to be determined).

Please indicate which events you would like to volunteer for, and also indicate which training you would like to attend. In the event that you would still like to volunteer but cannot make either of those times, please contact us anyway.
Come if you want to learn more about the Census in general and /or if you want to become a volunteer with other organizations.
High school students: this can count towards your service learning hours!
