Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business, located in Chicago’s financial district, is excited to share with you an innovative program that offers your organization the opportunity to leverage the skills and abilities of our capable, motivated and technically-proficient business and public administration students. As part of IIT Stuart’s ACE (Advancing Career and Education) Program, previously known as Academic Service Learning or ASL, graduate students fulfill 100 project hours over two semesters in organizations around Chicago.
The nature of assignments varies across organizations. Throughout the program we have partnered with several dozen entrepreneurial start-ups, non-profits and Fortune 500 businesses throughout metro Chicago. Students are working on a wide range of projects including market research, social networking, database management, event planning, accounting, human resources and general administrative support. In some cases we have provided entire teams of students to work with partner organizations.
IIT Stuart’s ACE program is a mutually-beneficial partnership that allows our students to build real-world skills while simultaneously assisting local organizations with real projects. And, because of the academic nature of the program, students are not compensated, so there is no cost to your organization.
