Bharat Walia is one of the Co-Founders and current Director of Events and Community Outreach of CDW's Asian resource group, the Pan Asian Council  (PAC).

After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from UIC, Bharat was part of a research team at Molecular Biology Consortium (MBC) for two years. In 2006, when MBC moved to Massachusetts, he made a career transition and took a position as a Corporate Account Manager at the technology solution provider CDW, where he currently focuses on Enterprise clients in the Rockies region. His position in sales entails helping businesses identify and manage IT platforms and operations.

Bharat is responsible for the strategic planning for PAC and leads a great team that delivers valuable programming to their members. He recently helped formulate the community outreach council which aims to drive collaboration and increase engagement around philanthropic efforts across all the different CDW ERGs. Bharat credits the Asian Affinity Group Leaders community as a valuable resource for the success of the PAC.

In addition Bharat also serves on his University's Liberal Arts and Sciences Alumni Board of directors and acts as a chair on NAAAP Chicago's cultural awareness committee.
