Starting the holiday season on a high note, an intimate group of 10 NAAAP Chicago food enthusiasts gathered together to commemorate the Diwali holiday and share the sights, sounds, aromas tastes of home style Indian cooking from the very home kitchen of Chef Naveen Sachar! I couldn’t think of a better event that embodies the Asian Senses Series. Chef Sachar guided us through beautiful colors and intricacies of the different spices that are quintessential to Indian Cooking. He got us involved in the process by helping him prepare the meats and vegetables. He shared with us many of the techniques and methods that he picked up over the 30 years of his global cooking experience. And in the end, after the tease of all the aromas tugging at our growling tummies, we ate the delicious meal prepared by Chef Sachar as we sipped on our favorite beverage and shared some stories and laugher on the way.
Thank you for those who attended Chef Naveen Sachar for allowing us in your home on such a fun night! (http://www.learnasiancooking.com/)
