On behalf of NAAAP Chicago, we would like to thank the attendees and our supporters for making our Meet the Employers event featuring Sara Lee on Saturday, February 13, 2010 a success. Those in attendance were able to share their ideas and interact with numerous other sharp and motivated professionals.
The workshop exercises encouraged the attendees to work collectively in developing solutions for issues that affect businesses across all industries globally. Several groups experienced changes in operations such as a change in management. Some of the words summarizing the experience included "leadership", "collaboration", "teamwork" and "empowerment".
After having the opportunity to speak with many of you, it was vividly apparent that one need not look beyond the room to find talented Chicagoland leaders and leaders-in-the-making. We appreciate your participation on the eve of the 2010 Lunar New Year and we look forward to seeing you again at future leadership sessions!
