NAAAP kicked off the first of our five part Asian Senses Series at Blu Coral Chicago sushi restaurant. Approximately 16 members were in attendance at the event that introduced the first sense: taste.

The night started with some brief mixing and mingling in the lounge area followed by a sushi workshop from the head chef. With over 12 years of experience, he was able to pass along some of his skills by teaching members how to make one of Blu Coral's signature rolls, the Spicy Tataki. Two of our members were able to participate in the sushi rolling and share their creation with the other participants. The event ended with a delicious dinner consisting of appetizers, nigiri and various sushi and signature maki rolls.
