SIGs(Special Interest Groups)

The NAAAP Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are an informal and fun way to meet other NAAAP members who are in the same profession or who share similar interests. Each SIG has one or two coordinators who are responsible for organizing the meeting times, locations and topics. If you have an idea for a SIG that you'd like to help start, please feel free to contact the NAAAP-Social committee. Please Click Here

We have four active SIGS:

Midwest Asian American Business Network ( MAABN )

North Suburban SIG
This SIG is being re-invigorated to focus on events and activities in the north and northwest suburbs. Prior events included movie & dinners, sushi and dumpling making, tapioca tea tasting, bowling, biking at Busse Woods, and barbeques.

Women's SIG
The objective of the Women's SIG is to further develop the professional and leadership skills of Asian American women in the workforce.  This group plans to meet once per quarter.  Past events include a networking workshop with a coaching expert and informal discussion on women's issues in the workplace.
