Asian American Group Leaders Corporate Leadership Conference
The AAGL Corporate Leadership Conference is a diversity-driven initiative committed to providing learning and networking opportunities for Chicago-based organizations and companies to address unique concerns and issues that Asian professionals may face in the workplace.
NAAAP is putting a little twist on the usual AAGL Corporate Leadership Conference. Instead of the half day conference we have been known to have, we decided to host a friendly ERG pitch competition to see who can come up with the most innovative and unconventional approach to increasing the value of your ERGs. Pitch your idea in front of a panel of judges consisting of executives from the sponsoring organizations.
Who is this for?
ERG leaders. If you are responsible for the success of your local or national ERG, then this is for you.
Who can participate?
Employee Resource Groups. Business Resource Groups. Multi-diversity Councils. Basically, anyone who is invested in the success of diversity and inclusion in your organization.
What’s in it for you?
You get to hear new and exciting ideas that will spark your imagination on how these ideas could apply to your organization and you get to meet the teams who are leading innovative projects and programs that has increased the value of their ERGs.
Is there a cost?
Yes, participating ERGs pay a $500 team registration fee.
What do I get for the $500 fee?
You will receive constructive feedback on your idea from a panel of executive judges; receive a copy of all pitch presentations, and if you win you get to bring home a team trophy and tout you had the best idea!
